Dr Ihsaan Hussain qualified as a doctor from Imperial College School of Medicine in 2000. Since qualifying, he has gained wide experience in various surgical specialties throughout the UK as well as becoming a general practitioner.

He currently works in Oldbury, West Midlands. He developed an interest in facial aesthetics using non-surgical treatments, offering clients the opportunity to instantly see improvements to their fine lines and wrinkles without the risks and expense of more invasive surgical procedures.

He is trained in the use of botulinum toxin to the frown complex, forehead and crows feet and in the use of dermal fillers to smooth out nasolabial lines, rejuvenating the lower face.

Botulinum Toxin

What is Botulinum Toxin?

Botulinum toxin type A works by temporarily weakening a muscle. This has the effect of causing the overlying skin to flatten out and instantly appear smoother. With time and repeated treatments, the skin can heal and eliminate further lines giving a more sustained youthful appearance.

It is more commonly known as Botox. This is a trade name of Allergan, a US manufacturer of botulinum toxin.

Will the Injections Hurt?

The treatment involves the application of a tiny needle directly into the muscle. Any discomfort is minimal and quickly resolves. Nearly all tolerate the momentary procedure well and can look forward to much longer lasting improvements.

Is Botox Treatment Safe?

It has been used in the aesthetic market for over 20 years and has an excellent safety record.

The effects of treatment should last 3 to 6 months.

Dermal Fillers

Restylane is a non-animal sourced hyaluronic acid. It works by binding with water molecules to add volume and flatten out fine lines and wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance in the skin. Its loss over time creates some of the characteristic signs of ageing.

How Is It Administered?

A local anaesthetic is applied when treating nasolabial lines. This ensures almost pain-free injections along the length of the lines.

How Long Does The Treatment Last?

The procedure takes about 30 minutes and should last about 6 to 9 months.

Are There Any Side-effects?

Slight swelling, bruising and redness may occur but should often settle quickly.

£220 for 2 areas
£270 for 3 areas.

Restylane Dermal Filler;

£200 per 1ml syringe.
